Hare Hilary is a female animal designed by Wildlife sculptor Paul Jenkins. The design that he sculpted in wax was then produced in Cold Cast bronze. After the casting process the statue was finished and polished by hand. Size: L 15,5 cm x 11,5 cm. The hare is accompanied by a Frith certificate.
Material:
Cold cast bronze consists of Resin (a stony material) mixed with a certain amount of bronze that has been ground into powder. Together with synthetic resin a mass is created that is liquid and can be poured directly into a mould. Because no heating is required, the sculpture can be made faster and therefore cheaper, which is reflected in the price. This hare is of a quality that makes it possible to place the sculpture outside.
