Hare sitting - 34 cm

34 cm long seated hare, specially designed for Frith Natural from Great Britain and where production also takes place.

The prototype of this hare was sculpted exclusively for Frith by the English artist Paul Jenkins . The clay design was then converted to a cold cast bronze mold so that it could be produced in an affordable manner. The rough structure has been deliberately chosen and emphasizes the indomitable, natural charm of the hare and adds extra dynamism to the sculpture.

The production process took place entirely by hand in the studio in Exmoor (Great Britain), using the highest quality materials. The final step in the manufacture consisted of manual finishing and polishing. Due to the high content of bronze powder and the special bronze finish, this statue can be placed both indoors and outdoors.

Paul Jenkins' is one of Britain's foremost animal sculptors and is also world famous. His inspiration comes from his love of nature and many of his pieces come from direct wildlife observations. The artist has dedicated himself to realistically sculpting the many body positions of these graceful animals of the English countryside. Fortunately, we also see the hare in the Dutch landscape.
