The story behind The Golfer

The Hole was far away, Mauro Rugolin had to hit the ball hard and very precisely. He knew he could do it, he had seen Tiger do it several times. That afternoon a whole crowd had come to look at him and they all hoped they would witness his magnificent drive.
He spread his legs exactly as he should, rotated his shoulders and waist while stabilizing his right knee a little. At a glance he calculated the distance, while a small smile of self-esteem appeared on his face. He continued his impeccable movement while concentrating on the small white ball.

He remained motionless for a few seconds and with all his strength he hit the ball with an enormous clump of earth. The ball was never found again, but the earth lump ended with an arch on the head of the referee. He had to be treated in the hospital because of an enormous blue spot above his left eye.

General:

Guillermo Forchino designs funny sculptures with a light sense of humor and color.
The caricature style makes the sculpture comical, because mistakes or character traits of the human race are magnified in a humorous way by him. He does this in such a way that we all recognize something of ourselves. Nice to give as a gift.
