Raindrops, a famous design
This impressive wall object whose design dates from the seventies is one of the most famous designs of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, or C. Jeré.  This abstract sculpture is made up of a metal frame on which a large number of steel wire clusters are welded. At the end of each steel wire there is a disc or a hemisphere, which, depending on their processing, shows the colour of brass more or less. The shiny brass spheres are interrupted by brown-tinted and flame-treated parts, sometimes showing a bluish colour. The flat discs are made up of elements with a smooth edge and parts with a serrated edge. The knurled discs are partly burned and painted dark for extra effect and here and there steel blue rings are created by heat. Brown flames were created on these discs with the aid of flame treatment and varnish. In addition, the centre of each flat disc has a dark core as a result of a welding torch that has heated the adhesion. The shiny half spheres do not have this discoloration and make the Raindrops brass wall sculpture even more lively. 
Depending on the lighting, Raindrops is also an interesting object in the evening. For example, a spotlight will conjure up more gold, while in the daytime the daylight will show more of the dark accents.

How to hang Raindrops Brass
Raindrops Brass is a wall decoration with six fixing points, so that it can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on the available space. The object weighs roughly 5 kilos. Therefore, fixing with a few screws is sufficient.   

Colour representation:
Our experience is that the colours as shown in the catalogue differ from the actual colours of the object. This is the logical consequence of traditional craftsmanship, used lighting and lcd-computer screens. For this reason we always add our own photos for a better impression.
