Frith Art Sculptures
Exclusively sculptured by renomated artists and hand made produced by Frith.
Frith Skulpture is a handmade collection of appealing bronzes after British design. Cold cast bronze: It is a mixture of bronze powder and resin. Each object is handmade processed in Somerset in the West of England. The pieces were originally developed by British artists.
Frith prefers especially artists who create their models by hand, so that the finished object reflects this process and both shows how the artist hands have shaped the tone. The sculptures are cast in forms and are exact replicas of the original, which was made of clay or wax. Then they are hand polished and edited with a black pigment that is applied and then wiped to emphasize wells.
Outdoor: The sculptures are UV and frost resistant.
The artists:
Paul Jenkins was born in 1949 in the West Midlands and his love of nature has inspired his sculptures since the early 1970. He has worked for the Metropolitan Museum in New York and has had several commissions for the National Trust. His works of art are highly sought after. He is particularly noted for his sculptures cats and hares.
Veronica Ballan is an extraordinary sculptor and her trade mark is the shaggy or hairy animal which is full of character but perfect in detail. Veronica is based in the North east of England and assisted by her husband Pete. I have yet to come across a piece of her work which I could not classify as outstanding. It is so different from the work of others and highly collectable. These Frith pieces based on her work make perfect gifts or will enhance any home.
