Frith Hare sculpture Hartpury The Gloucestershire hare
Hare sculpture Hartpury
Hare sculpture Hartpury is one of the two Gloucestershire hares who were exclusively designed for Frith by Paul Jenkins. The original was made of wax and to keep it affordable the hare is reproduced in so-called 'cold cast bronze' resin with a special bronze finish. The sculpture is weatherproof.
All Frith sculptures are handmade as well as hand polished in the United Kingdom. The hare statues are masterfully realistic in shape. This sculpture unmistakably reveals the essence of the hare.
Cold cast bronze (cold cast bronze), bronze powder and resin. The sculptures with this special bronze finish can, in contrast to common resin images, not only be inside, but also outside.

About Frith Sculpture
Frith Sculpture has been a supplier of the National Trust for more than 20 years with a series of animal and figurative sculptures of very high quality, both in execution and in material. The sculptures are first made by sculptors in clay or wax before they are taken to a studio on Exmoor for the production, which, like the finishing, takes place manually.
