Frith Hare sculpture hares - Sitting hare, looking Back by Paul Jenkins
Hare sculpture, sitting hare, looking Back
Hare sculpture designed by the Great Britain-based artist Paul Jenkins, who designed this sculpture exclusively for Frith Nature. Frith also supplies sculptures to the National Trust because they work with artists who excel in creating animals in very natural postures. The original hare (prototype) is made in wax and then converted into resin using the cold cast bronze technique. Then the hare is hand finished and polished. Underneath the sculpture the Frith label is stuck on.
Design: Paul Jenkins
Dimensions: H 20 cm
Finish : Premium Finish
Material: cold cast resin
Cold cast bronze - bronze powder and resin. The hare made with this material is finished manually and then covered with a finish. Frith offers the hares in the normal or premium finish, each with its own characteristics. The premium finish results in a darker coloured hare with slightly more shine. All these treatments make each hare unique in detail. Moreover, all hare sculptures are weather-resistant and can be placed outside.
