FIRMAMENT almost looks like a metal floor plan of the expansion, made up of small, square "stars". The wall sculpture is handmade and the square copper, brass and chrome plates are creatively processed by flame treatment. This has led to colour changes, with each metal showing its own character, from warm copper to blue steel. The right lighting of this object makes it a breathtaking spectacle.  

Creative composition
This wall sculpture Firmament consists of two, identically shaped parts. These parts can be set up as you wish to make a whole, but they can also be hung separately from each other. In the photo they are placed horizontally staggered against each other, making it look like one long object.  In the last photo it looks like one large and somewhat higher object, because here the parts have been pushed together above each other and the whole is hung diagonally. Each part contains enough attachment points to manoeuvre them in any desired direction.  Not only the composition of the parts, but also the way of lighting influences the appearance of Firmament. It is fun to experiment with this until the desired effect is achieved. If you want a different arrangement later, then you have complete freedom with this object.

Colors
Our experience is that the colours shown on standard catalogue photos often look different from those of the actual object. This is the logical consequence of the craftsmanship process, used photo exposure and computer screens. For this reason we also add (or only use) our own photo material to give you a better impression of the wall sculpture.

If you are unsure whether a sculpture meets your expectations, come to our gallery. The gallery is located in Duiven (near Arnhem, Gelderland) where many of C. Jeré's wall sculptures can be admired. Make an appointment in advance, so that our small team can take your arrival into account; we are not always present in the gallery.  Wall sculptures that are in the gallery can be taken along after purchase. Shipment of a wall sculpture is also possible.
